The World is Blue
http://www.ibma.org
This is the site for the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) an organization based in Kentucky. This neatly organized site was designed to keep viewers informed about happenings in the bluegrass world. It provides bios of IBMA staff members, a list of regional representatives, a brief history of the association, and information about becoming a member, an option available to viewers for a fee. More relevant to the actual music of the bluegrass world is information concerning awards and recent news and events. The site strongly and intelligently promotes bluegrass music, even going so far as to provide methods for implementing educational bluegrass programs in schools.

Not just about Music
http://www.zydeco.org
Zydeco is one of the major musical elements in Cajun culture. The Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Music Festival, to which this site is dedicated, is an annual event occurring in the fall in Opelousas, La. It was organized in 1981 to preserve and promote appreciation of the music as well as the heritage. The site itself briefly outlines the festival’s history and provides information about scheduled dates, times, events, and locations. Also included are maps, lists of performers, and useful tips concerning food, parking, and such. Overall, this site is concise, informative, and very well designed.
