Joshua Barajas
Joshua Barajas is majoring in journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also an unceremonious dancer. Nicknamed “The Bobblehead” and with headphones fused to his head, he dances a lot while sitting in various public locales such as the bus, classroom or café. He says his music taste is varied, but if he had to restrict his vast music collection to one undisputed classic, it would be Prince’s Dirty Mind.
Mark Lopez
Mark Lopez is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin and also writes about music for the Daily Texan. He has been fascinated by the written word since he was a young child and hopes to write for a major music magazine in the future. His music tastes vary depending on his mood, but he enjoys garage rock, blues, folk, indie, classic, R&B, punk, and other kinds of music.
Aaron Walther
Aaron Walther is a third year philosophy student at the University of Texas who wants to pursue a career in either acting or writing. He also writes for the Texas Travesty, UT’s satirical newspaper. His love of music spans a number of genres, leaning towards those unnamable. Some examples are neo-classical, skram, experimental dub-step, and folk-funk fusion, but the only requisite Aaron has for enjoying music is that it must be “unapologetically and passionately true to the creator,” and “without pretense.”
